GreenHarvest Agribusiness is seeking a proactive Agribusiness Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations across production planning, procurement, logistics, and field operations. This role blends practical farming insights with modern business practices to optimize yield, cost, and sustainability.
Based in Des Moines, IA, you will collaborate with growers, distributors, and finance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality produce while upholding safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute annual operating plans for production, procurement, and distribution aligned with company targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimise yield, quality, and cost across farms and processing facilities.
- Monitor KPIs (yield per acre, throughput, OEE, waste reduction) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers, growers, and carriers to optimise inventory levels and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; drive risk management.
- Champion data-driven decisions by leveraging ERP, farm management systems, and analytics tools.
- Mentor and develop staff; build a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years in agribusiness operations, farming operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with ERP, farm management software, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality assurance, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a bias for action.
