Responsibility

  • Support day-to-day corporate secretarial duties and assist the Company Secretary in delivering governance services
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely corporate filings with regulatory authorities (SSM and related bodies)
  • Prepare board and committee meeting materials, draft minutes, resolutions, and follow-up actions
  • Coordinate share registries, share transfers, and related documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance with Companies Act 2016 and other applicable laws
  • Assist in governance processes, risk management, and internal control documentation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external regulators to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Qualification

  • Diploma or Degree in Law, Corporate Secretarial, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial or administration
  • Solid understanding of Companies Act 2016 and basic knowledge of Bursa Malaysia requirements (if applicable)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and common secretarial software; high level of data privacy and discretion
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Malay; attention to detail and accuracy
