Tan Tock Seng Hospital is recruiting an experienced leader to advance healthcare innovation across the National Healthcare Group (NHG) network. The Assistant or Deputy Director, Digital Innovation Office will shape the digital health strategy, oversee AI-enabled projects, and build digital talent across NHG. This is a high-impact role at a leading Singaporean teaching hospital designed to improve patient outcomes, safety, and operational excellence through technology. You will guide the development and deployment of patient-centric digital solutions that integrate clinical insight, data analytics, and scalable platforms.
In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary team to design, pilot, and scale innovative solutions that address clinical needs, operational challenges, and patient experience. You will establish governance and portfolio management for digital programs, manage budgets and risk, and ensure that program outcomes align with hospital strategic priorities. You will champion data-driven decision making, develop partnerships with vendors, startups, and academia, and drive responsible AI adoption with robust privacy and security controls. You will mentor talent across the NHG network and advocate for change management, training, and adoption to ensure lasting impact.

Responsibility
- Provide strategic leadership for the Digital Innovation Office across NHG and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, aligning digital health initiatives with clinical needs and organizational goals.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled healthcare projects, from ideation and prototyping to pilot, scale, and operations.
- Lead governance of the digital program portfolio, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and benefits realization.
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT, data science, and operations to design user-friendly, clinically safe digital solutions that improve patient outcomes and experiences.
- Build and mentor high-performing multidisciplinary teams; develop internal capabilities and a strong talent pipeline across NHG network.
- Establish and manage partnerships with vendors, startups, academic institutions, and industry bodies to accelerate innovation and ensure best-in-class solutions.
- Monitor program metrics, deliver regular dashboards, and report impact to senior leadership while maintaining compliance with data privacy and security standards.
- Lead change management initiatives, communication, and training to ensure adoption and sustained impact across clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Qualification
- Advanced degree in healthcare administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field; alternatively, equivalent professional experience with a track record of leading digital health programs.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in digital health, healthcare IT, or healthcare innovation; demonstrated leadership in program management and delivery.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale digital health initiatives within complex healthcare organizations, preferably in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change management capabilities; ability to influence across senior leadership and clinical teams.
- Solid knowledge of AI and data analytics, data governance, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and regulatory/compliance requirements in healthcare (PDPA where applicable).
- Hands-on experience with project management methodologies, agile practices, vendor management, and budgeting.
- Patient-centered mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and privacy in digital solutions; ability to translate clinical needs into practical technology.
