You will diagnose, repair, and maintain passenger vehicles and light trucks using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment. Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in vehicles using diagnostic tools and manuals.
  • Repair engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems to factory specifications.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment (OBD-II scanners, multimeters, oscilloscopes) to identify root causes and verify repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and service campaigns with attention to detail and quality.
  • Document all service and repairs accurately in the ticketing system and communicate status to advisors and customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety policies.
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation after service.
  • Mentor junior technicians and participate in ongoing training to uphold high shop standards.

Qualification

  • 3+ years of automotive repair experience; ASE certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, service manuals, and using diagnostic tools (OBD-II scanners, multimeters, scopes).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.
  • Technical school graduate or equivalent; ASE certification is a plus.
