As a Customer Engineer, you will be at the forefront of client engagement, providing on-site and remote support, technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of IT equipment and solutions. Responsibility
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network-related issues at client locations.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including PCs, printers, servers, and networking devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems promptly, ensuring minimum downtime and optimum client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and ensure accurate documentation of service activities.
- Offer training and technical guidance to end-users on the operation and maintenance of deployed systems.
- Prepare timely service reports and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in IT support and customer service.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Customer Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within Medan and surrounding areas as required.
- Professional certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) are an advantage.
