- Coordinate and negotiate with government officials, NGOs, and international partners.
- Analyze current global events and report their implications for strategic objectives.
- Prepare and present policy briefs, speeches, and diplomatic correspondence.
- Represent your home country at summits, conferences, and bilateral meetings.
- Provide expert advice on foreign policies and treaty agreements.
- Foster long-term relationships with diplomatic missions and host country agencies.
- Facilitate crisis management and support citizens abroad as required.
- Champion values of peace, cooperation, and sustainable development.
Responsibility
- Negotiate and manage diplomatic relations with international stakeholders.
- Represent national interests at key global forums and summits.
- Draft, review, and deliver reports, briefings, and official correspondence.
- Monitor geopolitical developments and advise senior leadership.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance international partnerships.
- Organize, plan, and execute official diplomatic events and meetings.
- Manage crisis response for citizens and missions abroad.
- Promote cross-cultural understanding and global cooperation initiatives.
Qualification
- Masterβs degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, or related field.
- Proven experience in diplomacy or international affairs (minimum 5 years).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a strong asset.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
- Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Swiss or EU/Schengen citizenship preferred.
