Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet annual revenue goals.
- Manage and grow a diverse donor portfolio, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government grants.
- Lead grant proposal writing, reporting, and relationship cultivation with funders.
- Oversee donor stewardship programs, events, and recognition strategies.
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to develop budgets and measure impact.
- Lead a high-performing development team, including supervision of staff and contractors.
- Design and implement major gifts and planned giving strategies.
- Utilize data and CRM analytics to drive improvements and decision making.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or a related field; master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive fundraising experience in a nonprofit or socially-minded organization.
- Proven track record of securing major gifts and multi-year grants.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building, leadership, and project management abilities.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and fundraising analytics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
