We’re seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead end-to-end planning, vendor orchestration, and on-site execution across high-profile events in the New York area.

In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into exceptional guest experiences, manage cross-functional teams, and maintain budgets and timelines. Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end event planning from concept through execution for 20–40+ events annually.
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, venues, entertainment, and service partners.
  • Coordinate on-site logistics, registration, AV, staging, signage, and experiential elements.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure excellent attendee experience, accessibility, and safety compliance.
  • Track and report KPIs, post-event debriefs, and continuous improvement actions.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a high-performance event culture.

Qualification

  • 5+ years in event management with a track record of successful corporate events or large-scale conferences.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets up to $1M+ and maintain profitability.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, contract, and procurement skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and client-facing abilities.
  • Experience with event tech platforms (Registration, CRM, email marketing) and AV/staging coordination.
  • Ability to travel locally for events and manage on-site teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a calm, proactive approach under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
