In this role you will oversee greenhouse operations, manage production scheduling, and mentor a diverse team of horticulturists, technicians, and seasonal staff to achieve top quality and yield.

Responsibility
- Oversee daily greenhouse operations, production planning, and cultivation calendars to meet demand while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead plant health programs, including integrated pest management, nutrient management, and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain optimal environmental conditions through climate control, irrigation systems, and media management.
- Manage staffing, training, safety, and performance reviews for growers and technicians.
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce water usage and energy consumption.
- Collaborate with breeders, designers, and sales teams to translate product requirements into actionable production plans.
- Monitor KPIs, quality metrics, and cost controls; continuously improve processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations, certifications, and safety standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field; master's preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on horticulture or greenhouse management experience.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with ability to mentor staff.
- Strong knowledge of integrated pest management, soil science, fertigation, and irrigation systems.
- Experience with climate control, hydroponics/aeroponics, and crop production best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making abilities; proficiency with greenhouse software and MS Excel.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally with design, sales, and operations teams.
- Valid pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain) and knowledge of safety protocols.
