As an HVAC Technician, you will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure systems run efficiently and safely. You will collaborate with installers, project managers, and customers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibility

  • Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and rooftop units.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and control systems; diagnose faults; perform root-cause analysis.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize efficiency and extend equipment life.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to guide work.
  • Provide accurate estimates, prepare service reports, and document work performed in the CRM.
  • Ensure safety protocols and local codes are followed; maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and supervisors to coordinate schedules and outcomes.

Qualification

  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC technician experience; EPA 608 certification required; state licensure preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as NATE or equivalent are a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficiency with HVAC tools, electrical troubleshooting, and refrigerant handling.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; willingness to travel within service area.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.
