You will install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial clients. Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems across residential and light commercial settings
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine service to maximize efficiency and lifespan
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install and commission equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and control system issues
- Ensure safety and code compliance in all work, including OSHA guidelines
- Document service findings, provide clear recommendations, and up-sell maintenance plans
- Deliver outstanding customer service and professional communication
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant HVAC tech program or trade school
- 3+ years of practical HVAC installation and service experience
- EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification
- Strong knowledge of heating and cooling systems, electrical wiring, controls, and refrigerants
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic math and problem solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; reliable and punctual
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and occasional overtime
