Responsibility
- Diagnose HVAC system issues and determine root causes via inspection and testing.
- Install, replace, and commission heating and cooling equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize efficiency and longevity of systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, refrigerant circuits, and safety devices; document findings.
- Communicate clearly with customers about service recommendations and options.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time estimates.
- Adhere to safety policies, local codes, and company standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete jobs on schedule.
Qualification
- EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II/III or universal) preferred.
- 2+ years of HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair experience (residential/commercial).
- Solid knowledge of electrical wiring, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC controls.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with attention to detail.
- Valid driverâs license and clean driving record; ability to travel to job sites.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and perform physical tasks.
- Certification or apprentice program completion is a plus.
