Responsibility

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers).
  • Install and start up new equipment, including wiring, ductwork, refrigerant circuits, and controls, following manufacturers’ specifications and local codes.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and leak testing to maximize efficiency and longevity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams; select appropriate parts and sequence of operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and suggest upgrades while communicating clearly with customers.
  • Document service activities in our field service software; provide accurate estimates and working notes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and adhere to strict safety protocols; participate in after-hours on-call rotations as needed.

Qualification

  • EPA 608 Certification required; NATE certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience (residential or light commercial).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, refrigerants, ductwork, and controls; ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills; ability to explain technical details in plain language.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, crawl in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in varying climates and attics.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable with a collaborative attitude and commitment to quality.
