Responsibility
- Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and data collectors for land development and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed survey maps, plats, and reports in compliance with local and federal standards.
- Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries and land features.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to provide precise measurements and deliverables.
- Supervise and mentor survey crews, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance on site.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to process field data and generate survey documents.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration for reliable field operation.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive surveying experience, including boundary and topographic surveys.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months.
- Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collection software.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing.
- Strong understanding of legal descriptions, plats, and land records research.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
