RadiantWaves Media is seeking a dynamic Lead Broadcast Producer to helm live and taped productions in a fast-paced studio environment in Los Angeles. The role blends editorial collaboration with technical leadership to deliver high-quality on-air and streaming content.
As a key member of the production team, you will oversee daily newscasts, special events, and post-production workflows, ensuring accuracy, timing, and audience engagement. You will lead a diverse crew, coordinate with editors, directors, journalists, and technical operators, and drive a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end production for daily newscasts and live events, from concept to broadcast.
- Direct a multi-disciplinary crew including directors, producers, editors, graphics, and technical operators.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to shape story angles, rundowns, and on-air graphics.
- Oversee technical elements including switching, audio, camera operations, graphics, replay, and streaming encoders.
- Manage production calendars, risk assessments, and contingency plans for breaking news.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality controls, and safety protocols.
- Optimize post-production workflows and manage vendor relationships and equipment lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop talent, deliver constructive feedback, and promote a culture of excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, communications, media arts, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years in broadcast production with hands-on experience in live TV or major event coverage.
- Proven leadership, communication, and teamwork skills; adept at managing high-pressure deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of broadcast automation, switching, graphics, audio, and streaming workflows.
- Familiarity with FCC rules, safety regulations, and compliance best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required by live programming.
- Portfolio of produced segments or live broadcasts demonstrating storytelling and technical execution.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and graphics tools (e.g., Avid, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
