We are seeking a strategic Lead Content Curation Manager to shape how audiences discover and engage with high-quality content across verticals. This is a full-time role with hybrid options in Austin, TX.
As a leader in our curation team, you will influence content strategy, drive quality and relevance, and collaborate across Editorial, Product, and Marketing to deliver exceptional reader experiences.

Responsibility
- Develop and own the content curation strategy and taxonomy to ensure scalable, consistent content discovery.
- Source, evaluate, and organize high-quality content across verticals, ensuring alignment with brand voice and audience needs.
- Curate personalized recommendations and collections for targeted user segments.
- Collaborate with Editorial, Product, and Marketing to align content with product goals and campaigns.
- Define and enforce quality standards, copyright compliance, and content governance.
- Analyze performance data and user feedback to continuously optimize discovery, ranking, and metadata.
- Mentor and coach junior curators; contribute to hiring and team development.
- Maintain documentation of processes, metadata schemas, and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Library/Information Science, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content curation, editorial, or information architecture.
- Deep knowledge of taxonomy, metadata, tagging, and content governance.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, WordPress) and curation tools; familiarity with AI-assisted workflows.
- Strong data analysis skills; comfortable with SQL, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; hybrid/remote-ready.
