As a Linen Attendant, you will manage daily linen inventory, prepare clean items for guest rooms, public areas, and banquets, and ensure accurate distribution on schedule. You’ll collaborate closely with housekeeping and laundry teams to meet strict brand standards and guest expectations. Your attention to detail, proactive communication, and commitment to safety will help us deliver the comfort guests love. You will also participate in routine linen room organization, quality checks, and stain-removal processes to keep fabrics looking fresh and professional.

Responsibility

  • Receive, sort, launder, dry, fold, and deliver linen, towels, and fabrics to hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain accurate linen inventory through daily counts and reporting to the Laundry Supervisor.
  • Prepare and restock linen carts for housekeeping runs; ensure timely distribution to floor teams.
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the linen room and storage areas.
  • Assist with set-up and break-down for events and banquet services as needed.
  • Respond promptly to linen requests from hotel staff, ensuring quality and stain-free items.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25-30 pounds (11-14 kg) and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of fabric care, detergents, and safety procedures.
  • Willingness to uphold Marriott brand standards for cleanliness and guest service.
