Responsibility
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment schedules with carriers and clients.
- Monitor shipment statuses and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Manage shipping documentation and customs compliance.
- Resolve operational issues and delays, ensuring consistent cargo flow.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to streamline delivery processes.
- Negotiate with freight vendors to secure optimal rates and service.
- Maintain accurate records in shipping management software.
- Support process improvements to exceed client expectations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency with TMS or shipping management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with US customs regulations and maritime shipping documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid authorization to work in the United States.
