Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.
- Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
- Disassemble, repair or replace faulty components and document part usage.
- Fabricate or modify parts using basic machining tools and welding as required.
- Collaborate with electrical and automation teams on complex repairs and integrations.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Update maintenance records in the CMMS and report status to supervisors.
Qualification
- 3+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and manuals.
- Experience with basic machining, fabrication and welding tools.
- Proficiency with CMMS or maintenance-tracking software; strong documentation skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certifications preferred.
- Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
