Responsibility

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems on a range of industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and CNC machines.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections to minimize downtime.
  • Disassemble and reassemble components, replace worn parts, and verify proper operation after service.
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals; issue repair recommendations.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and hand/power tools; document work orders and parts used.
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance around operations and safety.
  • Adhere to safety policies and environmental regulations; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support on-site project installations and equipment upgrades as needed.

Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing and belt systems, welding and fabrication is a plus.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, vibration analysis, and basic electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings; comfortable with PLC basics.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced environment and on rotating shifts including overtime as required.
