As a Mechanic Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, and quality-check completed work. Youâll collaborate with a team of skilled technicians and use modern diagnostic tools to ensure dependable, safe vehicles on the road.
Responsibility
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on vehicles across makes and models
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections to minimize downtime and maximize reliability
- Utilize OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement effective repairs
- Document all work performed, parts used, and time estimates for transparency and warranty compliance
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate estimates and communicate repair plans to customers
- Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and uphold quality workmanship
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians to promote knowledge sharing and skill development
- Assist in selecting parts and ordering supplies to optimize workflow and efficiency
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certifications or OEM-specific training preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic skills using OBD-II and manufacturer-specific software
- Proficiency with electrical systems, brakes, steering/suspension, engine performance, and HVAC basics
- Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and communication abilities
- Commitment to safety, high-quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or overtime when needed
- Valid driverâs license and clean driving record
