Horizon Sound Labs, a leader in music technology and artist development, is seeking a data-driven Music Content Marketing Manager to grow our audience across social, email, and our platform. You will craft compelling storytelling around artists and releases, collaborate with product and A&R teams, and optimize content to drive engagement and revenue.
Location: Nashville, TN (hybrid). Reports to the VP of Marketing. Competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute the music content strategy across blogs, social, email, and video.
- Collaborate with A&R, product, and design to produce high-quality assets and campaigns.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools and optimize based on data.
- Source stories by building relationships with artists, managers, labels, and curators.
- Manage editorial calendar, content production budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Implement SEO and on-page optimization for all content; perform keyword research.
- Lead cross-functional campaigns for new releases, tours, and live events.
- Champion a consistent brand voice and user experience across channels.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Music Business, or related field; or 3+ years in music marketing.
- Proven experience creating and distributing music-focused content (video, audio, writing) across digital channels.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, analytics (GA4, YouTube Analytics) and social media algorithms.
- Excellent storytelling, editing, project management, and deadline discipline.
- Experience with artist partnerships, licensing basics, and rights clearance process.
- Proficiency with marketing tech stack: CMS (WordPress), email marketing, CRM tools, and social scheduling tools.
- Passion for diverse music genres; familiarity with the Nashville music scene is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and vendor relationships; strong communication.
