Based in Nashville, you will collaborate with labels, publishers, and creative teams to unlock monetization opportunities across film, TV, ads, streaming, and live events. The ideal candidate blends deep music industry knowledge with strong negotiation, project management, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibility

  • Lead music licensing negotiations with labels, publishers, and rights holders to secure favorable terms and revenue sharing across film, TV, ads, streaming, and live events.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with labels, publishers, artist managers, and production companies to expand catalog reach.
  • Coordinate rights clearances, contract administration, metadata accuracy, and compliance across all licensing deals.
  • Design and execute licensing programs that monetize catalog and new releases while aligning with brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative services, and product teams to maximize licensing opportunities and campaign impact.
  • Track performance, analyze ROI, prepare executive reports, and optimize terms and pipelines for efficiency.

Qualification

  • 4+ years of experience in music licensing, publishing, business development, or related field.
  • Proven track record negotiating licensing agreements and securing favorable terms.
  • Strong understanding of music rights, contracts, clearances, and rights management systems.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously, with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in music business, entertainment law, or a related field; JD preferred but not required.
