Aurora Music Group is seeking a dynamic Music Licensing & Partnerships Manager based in Nashville, TN. This leadership role drives licensing deals, partnerships, and strategic collaborations with artists, labels, publishers, and brands to expand our catalog and reach.
In this role you will oversee licensing workflows from outreach to agreement execution, collaborate with crossâfunctional teams, and develop programs that maximize revenue while preserving artistic integrity.
Responsibility
- Identify and prioritize licensing opportunities across synch, master use, and publishing; negotiate terms and secure agreements.
- Build and nurture relationships with artists, labels, publishers, and brand partners to source opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end licensing workflow from outreach through contract execution and rights clearance.
- Collaborate with A&R, marketing, legal, and business affairs to ensure deals align with catalog strategy and brand goals.
- Manage CRM, pipeline, and reporting; forecast revenue and track performance against targets.
- Develop and implement partnership programs to expand catalog reach and audience engagement across platforms.
Qualification
- Minimum 4+ years in music licensing, entertainment partnerships, or related field.
- Proven track record negotiating licensing deals and contracts with artists, labels, publishers, or brands.
- Strong network within the music industry and adept at deal structuring and problem solving.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to translate creative ideas into business terms.
- Knowledge of rights, sync licensing, publishing, and master use; familiarity with rights management and clearance processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision making; solid project management skills.
- Bachelorâs degree in Music Business, Entertainment, Marketing, or related field.
