Responsibility
- Lead and manage the development of new packaging materials and designs, ensuring alignment with product standards and brand guidelines.
- Ensure all packaging solutions comply with regulatory requirements, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers to source and evaluate packaging materials and oversee supplier performance.
- Conduct packaging testing, material analysis, and compatibility studies to ensure product integrity.
- Initiate and execute cost-reduction projects without compromising quality or safety.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to implement new packaging innovations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, sustainable packaging practices, and new technologies.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to packaging specifications and approvals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging development, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and packaging safety requirements.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable packaging materials and innovative packaging solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
