As part of our team, you will lead shoots from concept through post-production, ensuring consistent brand storytelling and adherence to timelines. This role offers hands-on creative work, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities to expand your portfolio.

Responsibility

  • Lead and execute on-location and studio photo sessions with direction from client briefs and creative leads.
  • Collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to develop shoot concepts and moodboards.
  • Set up and operate lighting (strobes, modifiers, and ambient light) to achieve desired aesthetics.
  • Direct models and subjects to elicit natural, engaging expressions and poses.
  • Deliver high-resolution images with color accuracy, cropping, and composition optimized for multiple channels.
  • Retouch and color-correct images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, delivering polished finals.
  • Archive, organize, and manage digital assets; maintain equipment inventory and studio upkeep.
  • Provide excellent client service, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography or 3+ years professional photography experience (portfolio required).
  • Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting systems, and backdrops.
  • Advanced editing skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; strong color grading ability.
  • Strong portfolio across portraits, events, product, or lifestyle photography.
  • Excellent communication, client-relations, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; adaptable to changing schedules.
  • Creative storytelling with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel within the Austin metro area and work evenings/weekends as needed.
