Lumina Visuals is seeking a passionate Photographer to join our NYC-based studio. This role blends commercial campaigns, editorial features, and high-end retouching for top-tier clients. You will capture compelling imagery that elevates brand storytelling across campaigns, lookbooks, and on-line editorial.

As a critical member of our creative team, you will manage on-set photography, lighting, camera operation, and collaboration with art directors, stylists, and clients to produce stunning imagery that meets exacting standards.

Responsibility

  • Lead on-set photography direction, lighting setups, and camera operation for campaigns and editorial shoots.
  • Collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to translate creative concepts into high-impact imagery.
  • Manage studio workflow, gear, and on-location shoots, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Oversee post-production workflow including color grading, retouching, and delivery of final assets.
  • Maintain image quality and consistency across multi-channel campaigns.
  • Source and manage talent or models when required.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and project timelines.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of professional photography experience in commercial or editorial contexts.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing branded campaigns, lookbooks, and editorial features.
  • Expertise in studio lighting, natural light, and on-set production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One; experience with color grading pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong eye for composition, color, and storytelling; ability to direct subjects.
  • Knowledge of retouching workflows and final asset delivery formats.
  • Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
