Responsibility
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety and prevent crime
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents
- Conduct investigations, collect evidence, and prepare detailed reports
- Enforce municipal, provincial, and federal laws
- Engage in proactive community policing and outreach
- Arrest suspects and execute warrants in accordance with the law
- Provide first aid and support to victims as needed
- Testify in court and collaborate with legal professionals
Qualification
- Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid Class G driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent physical and mental health
- Proven integrity, judgment, and strong sense of ethics
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass both physical and psychological assessments
