We are seeking a skilled Printing Operator to join our growing production team in New York City. As a Printing Operator, you will contribute to the full production workflow on offset and digital presses, ensuring precise color reproduction, efficient setup, and reliable throughput to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibility
- Operate and monitor offset and digital printing presses to produce high-quality materials.
- Set up presses, load substrates, mix inks, adjust color, and calibrate equipment for accuracy.
- Review work orders, proofs, and color targets; communicate deviations and corrective actions.
- Perform in-process quality checks and run inspections to minimize waste and reprints.
- Coordinate with prepress and finishing teams to ensure accurate color, bleed, and finishing specs.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot jams, perform routine maintenance, and document downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and workplace cleanliness standards.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade school or printing apprenticeship preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial print production or press operation (offset or digital).
- Solid understanding of color management, ICC profiles, and proofing processes.
- Ability to read job tickets, interpret specs, and maintain quality under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with paper stocks, inks, and finishes; proactive in material optimization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset.
- Willingness to work overtime or flexible shifts as needed to meet production schedules.
