NovaPrint Solutions is seeking a skilled Printing Technician to join our fast paced production team in Portland, OR. This role blends prepress, color management, and on press operations to deliver top quality prints for commercial clients.
As a Printing Technician, you will collaborate with design, production, and bindery teams to ensure accurate color, precise inks, and on time delivery.

Responsibility
- Operate offset and digital printing presses, load substrates, and monitor run quality
- Prepare job files, manage color profiles, and verify proofs against client specifications
- Set up and calibrate presses for consistent color and print quality
- Monitor inks, substrates, and drying times to minimize waste and downtime
- Collaborate with prepress and bindery teams to ensure accurate production flow
- Conduct final quality checks and prepare completed jobs for packaging and delivery
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical printing education preferred
- 2-5 years of hands on printing production experience in offset or digital environments
- Strong understanding of color management and ICC profiles
- Ability to read job tickets and interpret specifications
- Familiarity with RIP software and basic prepress workflows
- Experience with bindery, finishing, or packaging processes
- Detail oriented with problem solving and proactive communication
