Join Smartt Precision Mfg Pte Ltd, a leader in precision manufacturing, as a Program Lead/Manager for our Business Unit. You will oversee customer programs from NPI to mass production, acting as the primary interface to customers and internal teams to guarantee on-time delivery, exceptional quality, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will champion cross-functional collaboration across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to translate customer requirements into robust program plans, milestones, and resource allocations. You will manage program scope, risk, and change control, ensuring adherence to cost targets while optimizing product throughput and lead times. Your customer-facing leadership will build trusted partnerships, capture requirements, and communicate status clearly and proactively.

Responsibility
- Lead end to end program management for strategic customer programs from NPI through mass production, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and scope.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable project plans and milestones.
- Develop and maintain robust project plans, risk registers, and change control processes; monitor KPIs and provide regular status updates to leadership and customers.
- Coordinate cross functional teams across engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful design reviews, process validation, and scale up activities.
- Manage resource loading, capacity planning, and vendor/ supplier coordination to meet on time delivery and quality targets.
- Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, implementing lean manufacturing practices and early defect detection.
- Prepare program reviews, cost estimates, and margin analyses; identify and mitigate program risks and escalation paths.
- Foster strong customer relationships, capture requirements, manage changes, and ensure satisfaction through transparent communication and proactive issue resolution.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of program management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Proven track record managing NPI to mass production programs and delivering on-time, within budget, with quality outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage customer relationships.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in project management tools (eg MS Project, Jira/Confluence) and data driven decision making.
- Ability to travel as needed and work across time zones; highly organized with excellent problem solving skills.
