We are seeking a Program Manager to lead our Community Initiatives team, overseeing program development, grant management, stakeholder engagement, and impact measurement. As a Program Manager, you will champion equitable program design, ensure high-quality delivery, and support the organization's strategic goals while upholding compliance and board reporting standards.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of community programs aligned with our mission and strategic plan.
- Oversee grant-funded projects, including budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and compliance with funder requirements.
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community-based organizations, local government, and donors.
- Monitor program outcomes using data analytics; prepare impact reports for leadership and funders.
- Manage a small program team; provide coaching, performance feedback, and capacity-building opportunities.
- Collaborate with development and communications teams to craft proposals, updates, and donor communications.
- Ensure program activities adhere to nonprofit regulations, privacy standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Represent the organization at community events, coalitions, and public forums to advance our mission.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, social work, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of program management experience in the nonprofit sector; experience with grant management a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to cultivate partnerships and represent the organization publicly.
- Demonstrated experience with data-driven program design, monitoring, and evaluating impact.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience; proficiency with accounting software and dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and donor/customer relationship management (CRM) systems; familiarity with Salesforce a plus.
