Quality Manager
SMC Integrated Farm Specialists, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Quality Manager to lead our quality program across all processing stages in Metro Manila. You will ensure NMIC, GMP, HACCP, and customer standards are met from raw material intake to finished product distribution. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in a fast-paced agricultural processing environment.
In this role you will champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to safeguard product safety, enhance process reliability, and drive operational efficiency. You will also oversee documentation control, audits, CAPA, and supplier quality, ensuring traceability and compliance at every step.

Responsibility
- Lead NMIC, GMP, and HACCP compliance across all processing stages from raw material intake to finished product release.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure consistent product quality.
- Oversee internal audits, supplier quality audits, nonconformances, CAPA management, and corrective action tracking.
- Monitor quality performance metrics, analyze data trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and ensure safety.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize processes, reduce deviations, and safeguard product safety.
- Manage documentation control, traceability, product releases, recalls readiness, and recall drills as required.
- Lead and develop the QA team, provide coaching, training, and cross-functional collaboration across departments.
- Ensure sanitation, food safety programs, and allergen controls are effectively implemented and maintained.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of quality management experience in food processing or agricultural production; leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of NMIC standards, GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety regulations; ISO 9001 familiarity is a plus.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Excellent data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills; proficient in CAPA and corrective actions.
- Strong communication in English; ability to train and influence staff at all levels; solid documentation and reporting abilities.
- Experience with audits, supplier quality management, documentation control, and recall readiness.
