Arabian Knight Restaurant is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Cashier to join our team in Ubud, Bali. This contract role places you at the front line of guest service, combining precise cash handling with warm, attentive hospitality that reflects our brand.
As a Restaurant Cashier, you will welcome guests, take orders when needed, process all payments using our POS system, and help maintain a smooth flow between dining areas. You’ll handle cash, card, and mobile payments, perform end‑of‑day reconciliations, and support returns or adjustments in accordance with policy. Your kindness and accuracy will ensure a seamless guest experience from greeting to farewell.
Key to success is clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and hosts to ensure timely service, upsell menu items, and provide accurate information about dishes and promotions.

Responsibility
- Receive guest orders and process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, card, and mobile payments; ensure daily cash reconciliation and secure cash handling.
- Provide friendly, efficient service; answer questions about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Upsell additional items and recommendations to enhance guest experience and increase average order value.
- Maintain a clean, organized cashier station and assist with opening/closing procedures.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and smooth service flow.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security policies; protect customer data and maintain confidentiality.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or retail experience is preferred.
- Proficient with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak-hour rush with composure.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and reliability in handling cash and transactions.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Knowledge of basic inventory and menu items is a plus.
