TerraForge Civil is seeking a Road Construction Project Manager to oversee highway, arterial street, and urban reconstruction projects from initiation to closeout. This role combines logistics, safety leadership, and client coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibility
- Lead day-to-day construction activities on assigned road projects, ensuring schedule adherence and quality standards.
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and municipal stakeholders; manage permits and approvals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and drive corrective actions.
- Enforce site safety programs, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Review drawings, specs, and contract documents; resolve field issues and coordinate QA/QC.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment; track inventory and utilization.
- Prepare progress reports, change orders, and closeout documentation; support client communications and stakeholder updates.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of road construction or highway project experience; proven track record delivering medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and field management tools.
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA 10/30, DOT standards) and QA/QC processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and surveys; experience with QA/QC documentation.
