Responsibility
- Produce high-quality 3D character and creature animations for film, TV, and games using Maya and Blender.
- Collaborate closely with directors, VFX leads, and concept artists to realize creative vision.
- Refine animations based on feedback ensuring fluid motion, natural expression, and narrative impact.
- Mentor junior animators, sharing best practices and technical guidance.
- Work with motion capture data, enhancing performances and integrating seamlessly into scenes.
- Meet project milestones in an agile, deadline-driven setting.
- Engage in creative reviews and contribute to storytelling discussions.
- Stay current on emerging animation trends and technologies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 4 years in 3D animation for film, TV, or gaming.
- Advanced proficiency in Maya and Blender; familiarity with Cinema 4D a plus.
- Strong grasp of anatomy, weight, timing, and acting principles.
- Portfolio showcasing exceptional character animation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with motion capture pipelines is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
