Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable AI/ML models for production systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build data pipelines and feature stores that power robust models.
- Lead model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Deploy models using MLOps principles, monitor performance, and iterate rapidly.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to system architecture decisions.
- Partner with product teams to translate business problems into ML solutions with measurable impact.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance across AI pipelines and deployments.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on ML/AI experience in production systems and large-scale data environments.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tooling for deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, statistics, experimental design, and model evaluation.
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or multimodal modeling is highly desired.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to mentor and influence across teams.
- Proactive problem solver with strong debugging, design thinking, and architecture mindset.
