At NexaTech Labs, we build scalable AI platforms that empower enterprises with defensible AI systems. We’re seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of state-of-the-art machine learning models and large language models (LLMs) in production.
You will collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to ship robust AI features at scale and ensure reliability, safety, and governance.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end ML model development, evaluation, and deployment in production.
- Design and operate scalable ML pipelines and MLOps processes (CI/CD for ML, model observability, monitoring).
- Develop and optimize LLM-based features, retrieval-augmented generation, and conversational interfaces.
- Partner with data engineering to curate high-quality data, implement data governance, and ensure data privacy.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and promote best practices in AI engineering.
- Improve model safety, bias mitigation, and alignment with business goals; participate in risk assessments.
- Translate product requirements into technical specs, drive reviews, and document solutions.
Qualification
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on ML/AI engineering experience with production systems.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong background in ML modeling, experimentation, and feature engineering.
- Experience with MLOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow/Kubeflow, model monitoring, data versioning).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and building scalable data pipelines in distributed environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; track record of shipping features.
- Publications or open-source contributions in AI are a plus; knowledge of AI safety and governance is a plus.
