NovaTech Analytics is seeking a Senior Applied Mathematician to join our research team in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will apply mathematical theory to real-world data and complex engineering problems, bridging academia and industry.

In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to design, implement, and validate advanced mathematical models that inform product strategy and decision-making.

Responsibility

  • Lead the development and refinement of mathematical models for complex systems across domains such as finance, engineering, and data analytics.
  • Perform rigorous numerical analysis, simulation, and statistical inference to validate models against real-world data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theory into deployable algorithms and tools.
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to internal model-building best practices.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed venues and present at conferences.

Qualification
