Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of experimental plans for organic synthesis and analytical characterization.
- Develop and optimize synthetic routes, process chemistry, and scale-up strategies.
- Interpret analytical data (NMR, HPLC, GC-MS) to guide decision-making.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, SOPs, and quality records in compliance with GMP/GLP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Analytical, Process Development, QA) to advance projects.
- Mentor junior chemists and contribute to training and safety programs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and publish findings where appropriate.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field; 5+ years industry experience.
- Strong background in organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and characterization techniques (NMR, HPLC, GC-MS).
- Experience with GMP/GLP environments and regulatory documentation.
- Proficient data analysis, statistics, and scientific software (ChemDraw, Experiment planning tools).
- Excellent verbal and written communication; proven project management and collaboration skills.
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment.
