Roles involve coordinating imaging workflows, mentoring junior radiographers, participating in QA/QC programs, and contributing to clinical audits and research projects. Responsibility
- Conduct a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT and other modalities as assigned.
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, ensure comfort and safety, and monitor for contraindications.
- Operate imaging equipment, perform quality control checks, calibrate settings, and optimize image quality while adhering to ALARA principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to tailor imaging protocols and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
- Manage patient records and image capture, archiving in PACS/RIS, and maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
- Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours imaging coverage as required by service demand.
- Contribute to clinical audits, research, QA/QC programs, and equipment maintenance as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from an accredited institution.
- Current professional registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore or recognized equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical radiography experience with exposure to X-ray and CT; MRI experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, dose optimization, and compliance with local regulations and hospital policies.
- Excellent communication, patient-centered care, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to participate in flexible shifts and on-call rosters as required.
- Proficient with PACS/RIS and basic computer literacy; strong attention to detail and documentation.
