Responsibility
- Design, implement and optimize experiments in quantum materials and condensed matter systems
- Develop and refine measurement techniques across low temperature and high field environments
- Operate and maintain cryogenic systems, magnet assemblies, and spectroscopy instrumentation
- Analyze data, model results, and contribute to peer reviewed publications
- Collaborate with theorists, engineers, and other labs to translate measurements into scientific insights
- Mentor graduate students and supervise lab operations to ensure safety and efficiency
- Prepare grant reports and present findings at conferences
Qualification
- PhD in Physics or related field with strong experimental training
- 3+ years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience in condensed matter or quantum materials
- Proficiency with low-temperature measurements (mK to few K), high-field magnet systems, cryogenics, and vacuum technology
- Experience with data analysis and instrument control using Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW
- Strong record of publications and presentations
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills
