We are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer to lead product development from concept to execution, shaping both our seasonal collections and the brand's long-term design direction. Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end design processes from concept to final tech packs, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and commercial goals.
- Develop innovative silhouettes, color stories, and fabric applications that elevate seasonal collections.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, and Manufacturing to ensure feasibility, fit, and on-time delivery.
- Oversee CAD drawings, technical specs, and pattern development in partnership with production teams.
- Mentor junior designers, provide design critiques, and maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Represent the brand in fittings, showrooms, and trade shows, translating feedback into design adjustments.
- Contribute to trend forecasting, mood boards, and line planning for multi-season collections.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Fashion Design or related field; MFA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fashion design, preferably luxury or contemporary brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating technical excellence, creative leadership, and cohesive collection storytelling.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop); experience with 3D design tools is a plus.
- Expertise in draping, pattern making, grading, and tech pack creation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes; familiarity with NYC market is a plus.
