Responsibility

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead geological field campaigns, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of results.
  • Oversee data collection, logging, sampling, and core analysis; integrate GIS and geochemical data to build robust geological models.
  • Perform stratigraphic reconstruction, structural interpretation, and resource estimation in collaboration with clients and engineers.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, maps, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior geologists and support professional development through training and review of work products.
  • Communicate clearly with clients to translate complex geology into actionable recommendations and risk assessments.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain strict project documentation and QA/QC procedures.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in geology or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional geology experience in exploration, mineral resources, or hydrogeology.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) license or eligibility to obtain in Colorado within 12 months.
  • Strong field mapping, logging, and data integration skills; proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and data analysis software.
  • Experience with resource estimation methods, rock and mineralogy analysis, and report writing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel to field sites and occasionally onsite client meetings; valid driver's license required.
