Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive horticultural management plans
- Lead greenhouse and outdoor cultivation teams to achieve optimal plant health
- Oversee soil, nutrient, and irrigation management protocols
- Conduct plant health diagnostics and implement integrated pest management strategies
- Collaborate on research and trial projects to advance crop performance
- Train and mentor junior horticulturists and seasonal staff
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
- Engage with clients, providing expert recommendations and horticultural consultations
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on horticultural experience, preferably in a commercial setting
- Extensive knowledge of plant physiology and botany
- Proven ability to manage teams and projects
- Strong diagnostic skills in plant health and pest management
- Experience with sustainable and organic practices is preferred
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Valid driver’s license required
