Responsibility
- Lead day-to-day horticultural operations for protected crops and outdoor production facilities.
- Develop propagation protocols and growth media optimization for multiple crop types.
- Design and manage irrigation systems and fertigation schedules to maximize resource efficiency.
- Implement integrated pest management strategies and monitor crop health using precision tools.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to test new cultivars and sustainable growing practices.
- Train and supervise nursery staff; establish standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related field.
- 5+ years of practical experience in horticulture, nursery operations, or greenhouse management.
- Strong knowledge of soilless media, fertigation, irrigation scheduling, and climate control.
- Experience with integrated pest management and sustainable production practices.
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis using Excel, Google Sheets, or specialized software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and adhere to safety standards.
