We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Development Engineer to lead multidisciplinary projects from concept through delivery. You will collaborate with civil, electrical, and geotechnical teams, manage contractor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards. In this role, you will shape the technical strategy, oversee design development, manage risk, and drive project performance through integrated planning and governance processes. You will work closely with clients, regulators, and vendors to deliver resilient, cost-effective infrastructure solutions that support economic growth and social outcomes.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs, from feasibility through commissioning and handover.
- Develop and validate design concepts, engineering calculations, and technical specifications across civil, structural, and geotechnical disciplines.
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and suppliers; coordinate progress across design-build and EPC contracts.
- Implement BIM and digital twin methodologies to improve design accuracy, constructability, and project visibility.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and mitigation plans; monitor performance and drive corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety, environmental standards, and QA/QC processes throughout lifecycle.
- Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to secure approvals, manage changes, and communicate program status.
- Lead sustainability and resilience initiatives, including lifecycle cost analysis and decarbonization considerations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or environmental engineering; master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of infrastructure or civil engineering project delivery experience; experience with large urban projects is a plus.
- Professional Engineer license or equivalent; chartered status considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and 4D/5D planning and design-build delivery.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost management tools.
- Proven leadership, client-facing communication, and cross-functional team management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and international offices as required.
