Responsibility
- Conduct client consultations to identify color preferences, product selections, and desired outcomes for makeup looks.
- Apply makeup for weddings, events, editorials, and film projects while adhering to brand standards and look briefs.
- Ensure impeccable sanitation and hygiene of tools, products, and workstations in line with industry guidelines.
- Create customized makeup looks that flatter varied skin tones, lighting conditions, and wardrobe choices.
- Manage makeup kits, supplies, and inventory; document product usage and re-stock as needed.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and hair designers to achieve cohesive visuals; assist in on-location or studio shoots as required.
- Provide post-session touch-ups and skincare guidance to support client satisfaction and retention.
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of professional makeup artistry experience, with bridal and editorial work preferred.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, skin undertones, contouring, highlighting, and makeup for diverse skin types.
- Formal training or certification in makeup artistry; proficiency with airbrush techniques and both water- and silicone-based products.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolios demonstrating versatility across bridal, editorial, beauty, and runway looks.
- Commitment to hygiene and sanitation standards; ability to work on-location or in-studio.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by events and bookings.
