Join TechNova Solutions as a Senior Network Engineer in Austin, TX. You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure across data centers, campuses, and cloud connections. Responsibility
- Design, implement, and operate enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, campuses, and remote sites.
- Manage Cisco and Juniper devices (IOS-XE/NX-OS, JunOS) with focus on reliability and performance.
- Plan and enforce routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and MPLS/VPN architectures for global reach.
- Lead SD-WAN deployments, branch connectivity, and software-defined networking initiatives.
- Architect secure network services including firewall policies, VPNs, segmentation, and monitoring.
- Partner with cloud teams to enable seamless hybrid-cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native networking.
- Automate repeatable tasks using Python, Ansible, and network automation tooling; maintain infrastructure as code practices.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to runbooks, documentation, and incident response playbooks.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, EE, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on networking experience in large-scale enterprise or service-provider environments.
- Deep expertise with Cisco and Juniper platforms; strong routing and switching fundamentals.
- Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VPNs, NAT; experience with QoS and traffic engineering.
- Hands-on SD-WAN experience and multi-cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Firewall and security policy experience (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent).
- Automation scripting (Python, Ansible) and network monitoring (NetFlow, SNMP, monitoring tools).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
