Join Apex Mobility Group as a Senior Transportation Planner in Seattle and help shape inclusive, data-driven urban mobility solutions. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, model travel demand, evaluate corridor improvements, and drive policy recommendations that balance safety, efficiency, and livability.

Responsibility
- Lead transportation planning efforts for urban redevelopment and mobility projects, delivering actionable insights and policy recommendations.
- Develop travel demand models and perform traffic impact analyses to forecast demand, capacity, and network performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, urban designers, and public agencies to develop multimodal solutions that improve safety and accessibility.
- Prepare GIS-based analyses, maps, and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Manage project work plans, budgets, and schedules; supervise junior staff and provide mentorship.
- Coordinate with public procurement processes, grant applications, and contract deliverables.
- Present findings to city officials, planning boards, and community groups with clarity and diplomacy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of transportation planning or urban mobility experience in public sector, consultancy, or corporate planning environment.
- Proficiency with travel demand modeling tools (e.g., VISSIM, TransCAD, VISUM) and GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills; experience with SQL, Python/R is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated stakeholder engagement and facilitation experience.
- Project management experience; ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and teams.
- Professional licensure or certification preferred (AICP, PE) or willingness to pursue.
